About this position and your tasks

As a Developer, you'll work collaboratively with the rest of the team to develop and maintain new and existing systems that make up our infrastructure. Your role will be to develop applications, troubleshoot potential problems and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Depending on your skills and needs, you will work on backends, Discord integrations, websites and apps, and more.

What we expect from you

As a developer, you should already have some programming experience and know how to build high-performance applications using Java in a multi-threaded environment, be familiar with version control systems such as Git, and have a basic understanding of databases and closed-loop communication between applications. Experience with Docker, TCP and io.netty, Redis, event streaming systems like Kafka, or S3-like object storages is also helpful, but definitely not required. If you've been involved in web development before, that's great too. But above all, we are looking for someone who enjoys what they do and can work well in a team.
